Executive Assistant

Purpose of the Role
Provide high-impact, proactive executive support that leads the administrative support to the senior management team and improves the speed and quality of decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Executive Support & Prioritisation - Manage SMT diary, inbox, briefings, and gatekeeping.

  2. Senior Management, Board & Governance – Coordinate governance calendar, board packs, and minutes.

  3. Meetings, Travel & Events – Own travel logistics and leadership event planning.

  4. Stakeholder & Communications – Act as first point of contact for partners and draft executive communications.

  5. Operations & Special Projects – Support SMT members, budget tracking, and process improvements.

  6. Information Management & Tooling – Maintain organised archives and dashboards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1+ years’ experience as an EA supporting C-suite in a fast-paced environment (scale-up, financial services, consulting or similar).

  • Superb written and verbal communication; able to draft concise, executive-ready materials.

  • Advanced MS 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) skills.

  • Strong judgement, confidentiality, and stakeholder management at senior levels.

  • Proven mastery of complex diary, international travel, and board meeting cycles.

  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs.

Desirable

  • Experience in insurance/financial/Legal services or a regulated environment.

  • Familiarity with board processes/secretarial requirements, and expense tools (Concur).

  • Project coordination/PMO experience; basic financial literacy (budgets, variance).

  • Degree or EA/Business Administration qualification; PRINCE2/Agile awareness helpful.
